Safe mode is the option to launch Firefox.

Mozilla Firefox have become heavy and loaded due ti lot of customization setting. You should start Firefox in safe mode to load without any plug ins or settings. Just a simple steps to run Mozilla firefox on safe mode. Go to start run and type the command on run “C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe” -safe-mode and click OK. It will launch a Mozilla Firefox in safe mode.

Disable auto update be fast your Firefox

Last month i have found same issue to my Firefox , its getting slow and slow. That time I fix the issue with help of my friend. I do one thing , Just disable the auto update feature of Mozilla Firefox through switching the proxy. I had just disable check for notification of switchproxy updates. You can also disable user agent switcher, it can improve performance slightly.

Change about config of Firefox

There is also one method to browse Firefox as fast. Just go to start and Open Firefox and type "about:config" in the address bar and find these option then double click each one and change to below values:
network.http.max-connections: 48
network.http.max-connections-per-server: 24
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy: 12
network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server: 6
network.http.pipelining: true
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests: 8
network.http.proxy.pipelining: true.

Then close the Firefox and start again then you will find the faster performance.
