    Screencast software for linux

    Hello
I want to do a video demonstration application on a Linux Redhat server. The demonstrator will not be available a few hours, so I will not be able to test the different software that I found on the Internet. Can anyone advise me a software specifically? I need to make exports AVI, very good quality, for then treated aftereffect for a final video in an integrated 800x600 minimum. Thank you for your help.

I know that vnc2swf / that can be used by installing a VNC server machine screencast. Otherwise the only solution I see is a capture card that would capture the video output of the server

    Hi
Thank you for your reply. Why add a VNC server? processing is done online? The software seems to be that of exports in swf I'm wrong? The capture card is actually a good idea, but the time to make a purchase request in my box, the demo is already sent to the client.

    Hi
Because vnc2swf is actually a VNC client that will screencast that what is happening on the VNC server.
To stay in the same idea is a bit of tinkering but good:
    1) You install VNC server on your RedHat
    2) You connect remotely from another PC on your RedHat (Windows for example) with a PC equipped to screencast
    3) You perform remote manipulation in faisaint the screencast from the PC running the VNC client

    Hi
Gave me good results under Ubuntu, Red Hat, it must be like, I think. Seems complicated to install for a novice. But perhaps a little less crooked than the idea.
