Do Symantec products require Windows XP Service Pack 2

I want some information on the process of Symantec products, due it required Windows XP Service Pack 2 to work. If we want to install the service pack 2, will it have an change on the Symantec products, which I had already installed. I also want the information on Norton Firewall and Norton Internet Security and Norton SystemWorks related to the topic.

Which also contain Windows firewall and Windows Security Center. The state of your computer security is connected to the monitor. It is not needed to Symantec products. If your system is working on Windows XP then you do not required service pack 2 for your working.Windows XP Service Pack 2 is a very main security-focused operating system with upgrades.

It depend up the Symantec products which you have. If Norton AntiVirus do not get affected if you are installing service pack 2. The Windows Security Center is a part of windows XP service pack 2. It will know that you have installed the antivirus in it. But it will not know it's working status. Because of the Symantec's tamper-protection technology.

Symantec has been update and released which gives the compatibility to the Windows Security Center by which it can give the status of report to your Symantec security software. In this update it includes Norton AntiVirus 2005, and it is updated live, it will install in Windows XP, but it will not work till you not have the Windows Security Center installed.

If you are running Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall and Norton AntiVirus, is the best way in which you can see that you are online security. You can also test the security of your computer. For this you can visit Symantec Security.

It is not sure that, it shows you the Windows Security Alert . When ever you start your process. It will not required the out bound connection for it. This will happen with your any time. In this you will get a option by the security alert which is unblock. And it will allow you to work on the application.
