    Change location of conky

    Hello,
For the monitoring of my server locally I use conky application. I see the conky on my server on my desktop. I have therefore my server on my network locally, when I try to run conky it displays a message as, "Conky: can not open display"
So I redirect the display to my desktop, both systems are under debian. Any advice or suggestion for this. Thank you for your help.

    Hi
I think you should try this, Log on to you in ssh on the server where conky installed and used the-X (which will activate X11Forwarding). The command you have to issue in the terminal window.
    Code:
    ssh-X-l user server: commande_a_lancer
Hope this may help you. Any more queried then do post back.

I launch the application on X server that on my server. If so, install a desktop on a server is already using it is not powerful. I just send the conky display on another screen or desktop system or. Any advice on this. Thanks for your reply.

It was misunderstood I think. The goal is to connect by ssh to your post (which has a graphic environment) to your server. Once connected you can run graphical applications on your server but the display will be on your local post.
And for this to work perfectly you must use the "-X" your ssh client.
