PowerPoint 2007 Help

Ok So I Used A Previous Powerpoint Presentation As A Guideline For My Own, And When I Did Spell Check On My References Page, The Authors Name Of The Original Comes Up along the bottom, With "Click To Edit Master Title Style." I want to be perfectly clear & not confuse you, I've already changed the author in the "Properties" section. This is something completely diffrent, For some reason when I try to do a spell check, it will actually erase my work and disply the template of a powerpoint with Click To Edit Master Title Style and along the bottom it shows the current date and the original author's name...thats what I need changed, please help me I've done all this work I dont want to do it all again!

open up a new presentation, copy all the slides from yours into the new one

Ok thanx ;o)...I did that, & all looks good, but is there a way to make sure? When I do spell check, I dont see the original author there anymore, I also tried the "find" search, & nothing came up on the copied version, but when I go back to the original document & use "find" her name doesnt show up there either. Very weird, is this common?
