    Matlab 2008 issues under windows 7

    Hello. I have a query regarding the software application Matlab 2008. I have a desktop system and is installed with windows 7 as the operating system. The thing is that I am not able to install Matlab 2008 in windows 7. It worked with Windows XP but not getting installed with Windows 7. Please guide me with the solution so that I can make necessary things to be implemented.

    If you need to install the application Matlab under windows 7 then just make the necessary things implemented.

    1) Right click on the desktop.
    2) Go to the properties and click on it.
    3) Now select the Theme tab on the property window.
    4) Then change the parameter and choose the Windows classic theme.

    This might help you to install the application to your system. The problem that Matlab is unable to install under windows 7 would be sorted.

    Matlab 2008 is a kind of software that works according to the compatibility feature supporting to the system. Windows 7 is advanced and it requires some changes in order to work with the same. Follow the steps:

    1) Install the latest java updates or version onto your system.
    2) Now go to the C drive and open the program files folder.
    3) There you would get a folder where Matlab application is been installed.
    4) Just follow the path C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2007a\sys\java\jre\win32.
    5) You will get a file named as jer1.5.0_07.
    6) Rename the file as Original_jer1.5.0_07.
    7) Then go to the address C:\Program Files\Java.
    8) Again you will get a file called as jet6.
    9) Copy the file to the location as mentioned in step 4 and rename it to jer1.5.0_07

    The problem that the Matlab application is unable to install under windows 7 can be resolved by checking the issue with mathworks. It is officially a a resolving factor that would lend in making the the issues to sort out by letting you know the basic compatibility feature for the same. This can be done ad may come out with a resolved conclusion as well. Try out.

    There can be a possibility that your system may have been affected with some bug issues. Due to this reason it is quite problematic for the application to get installed. You need to check out for the same that whether it is the issue as some of the external entity or any error might not let you to perform the action. Scan your system for the bug issue and fix it up. This should help you.
