Problem with iTunes after downloading Windows 7

Hi,

I have recently downloaded Windows 7 on my laptop. When I had Windows xp before, I was able to preview a 30-second clip of a song from a website and this could have on my iTunes. Since upgrading to Windows 7 cannot preview the music in iTunes now. I spoke with a technician over to iTunes and was not helpful, and the same happens with Gateway live chat.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to reinstall iTunes and it can still review music online. Try Windows Firewall disabled and disable all security programs to test again. If outcome still exists, remove all Apple related programs, Click here - Apple Itunes to get the last version of iTunes, install it to see the result.

In my opinion, I will recommend clients try to disable security programs, add iTunes (and maybe QuickTime Player) to the trusted list firewall for testing. Can not confirm whether it was referring to the configuration of Internet Explorer. If so we can try to reset IE8 to see the result.

I would always recommend for clean installing windows 7 rather than upgrading. In this way you can compare your potential problems against a clean OS rather than a "previous" one. Also the time it takes to upgrade, at least from what I seen from upgrading Vista to RC. There must be some conflict between the drivers because some file remains of previous os which later creates conflicts .
