If you are very new to Movie Maker, here are some guidelines for you.
    1. Open your clip in video pad and add that clip to the timeline.
    2. Move your cursor to the point where your unwanted section starts.
    3. Split that clip into 2 at that point in the timeline.
    4. Now you can also do the same if there are any other unwanted section.
    5. Once you select all the unwanted then just delete that part by right clicking on that video and selecting the delete option.
    6. Now you can make movie without any unwanted part in it.

There are many software that can be used to edit your own movie. The applications like Auto Movie Creator, Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate, Windows Movie Maker, CyberLink PowerDirector, etc can be used. The steps of creating the movie is very much similar in all the applications.
First Import your video, music in the application.
Then put your music on the "time-line".
Finally put your desired clips in the order of your chosen scenario.

You are done with your movie.
