What is the procedure to disable JAVA script?

Please help to disable the JAVA script . I am not aware about the procedure which is used to disable the JAVA script. I visited varios website to find out the information regarding this, but no proper information found.
Can you please let me know how can I disable the JAVA script?

1. First open the Internet explorer, then click on the Tools option.
2. Then choose the Internet Options.
3. The will see Security option, select it.
4. Then go for Custom Level.
5. Then will see the "Java scripting" option, try to disable this option.

I am also suffered from this issue. I don't have any idea about the disabling the java script. Actually I have tried to above setting in the Internet explorer. But I didn't get the java script option in it, So how can I disable it?
If you know the technique to disable the java script other than above then please let aware about it.

Java Plunging s are not scripts. You can Stop Java Scripts according to the methods who said opaper

JavaScript are two different things, so make sure that you're looking at the correct language. To disable Open Internet Explorer > On the Tools menu, >click Internet Options > On the Security tab, click Internet > Click Custom Level > Scroll down to Active scripting > Click Disable(or Prompt) >Click OK.
