Quicken 2009 will not email invoices in Windows 7

Hi,

I have a problem after installing Windows 7, After upgrading to Windows 7, which can no longer send invoices or quotations, or can be saved as a PDF file to send out of QuickBooks. Quicken 2009 will not email invoices in Windows 7, I send invoices and fine using Vista or XP, but Windows 7 on all invoices received by e-mail returned as undeliverable. Has anyone else seen this and a solution? Thanks ..

Quicken 2009 will e-mail your invoices. It requires Outlook or Outlook Express / Windows Mail (Vista). You can configure your Gmail account as a POP3/IMAP account in any of the programs so you can send invoices. I do not think it will mail invoices in batches. you have to create each invoice (which can be memorized) and email one by one. As for composing a message --- you can configure a generic message that is included in the body of the email.

Something must be wrong the settings, check the point where Emaiil has been integrated into Outlook before sending, double-click on the email address and you will see a dialog box. This dialog box has a button to Internet type. When you click to change the type of customized Internet and the value type for SMTP (instead of email address). The problem is that Outlook is looking for the right kind of email to send and an email address is incorrect email type. Once you have changed your Internet SMTP type, then you can click on send.
