    ndis.sys error stop: 0x000000e1

I am facing some problem when I start my machine giving the blue screen and the message is :

    WORKER_THREAD_RETURNED_AT_BAD_IRQL

    stop: 0x000000e1 (0x826d8005, 0x00000002, 0x85e75e28, 0x85e75e30)

Initially I thought it was due to some hardware problem and did not paid attention. Now I can't boot my PC, it shows error at the Starting. This is ndis.sys error. Can anyone help me??

The error "WORKER_THREAD_RETURNED_AT_BAD_IRQL" normally comes because of old version of the drivers. For that you will have to install latest Windows software updates. To do the updates manually, go to Internet Explorer (recommended) then click on safety, followed by Windows Update. If there is updated driver available on the internet then it will ask to download. Do it and then you will not get the error.

The ndis.sys errors are mostly caused due to drivers that are installed in your system, sometimes also related to firewall. This error can be caused by instability or corruption, if it is just disk related. Also the problem can be caused by the hardware issues. Check the Event Viewer, by typing eventvwr.msc in run and open the "wininit" entry in the apllication log to find the error log.

This error indicates that this is the driver problem. Had you changed any driver or tried to update any driver? That is the only reason for this error. I will recommend you to repair the OS, if its still there then try to clean install. This is the only clean way to get out of this issue. From next time onwards try to install only that drivers which are suitable for your OS and the Mother board.
