Procedure to convert the rtf file into word format

Hi,

I have a "RTF" file. I have to convert it into the word document format.
How can I achieve this task.

Is there any special tool available in the word? OR Is any macro available to convert rtf file into word document?

Please try the below steps to convert the "RTF" file into word document:

*. Open MS Word window.

*. Then open the rtf file which u\you want to convert into doc format.

*. Open file menu.

*. Then choose Save As option ,ant then select "Word Document" option in the 'Save as type' textbox.

*. Then provide the file name for the converted word document file.

*. Then finally select Save.

A RTF file is the abbreviation of the "Rich Text Format". Microsoft Word has the support to RTF file format.

There is no special macro available in the Microsoft Word to convert the RTF file into the word document.

You can achieve this conversion by using the process which is same as "Save as file".

Follow below instructions for RTF to Wrod file conversion:

1. Open your rtf file

2. Then save as this rtf file as word doc type

3. Then open the converted doc file to check if it is converted properly.
