Windows 7 fear for my old software and games

I want to install Windows 7, currently I am on Windows xp pro sp3 (I do not like vista). I have 6 GB of RAM (2GB before) so the transition has meant the 64-bit.

But now I'm desperate for diablo 1 2, but it sometimes replay warcraft 2. Finally, this is not my problem. But my fear is that I do not be able to play these old games so it does need to keep my xp 32 bit version rather than having just Windows 7 64-bit installed?

If you take Windows 7 pro version, you'll have the XP mode! It is also necessary that the processor supports virtualization. I would also like to inform you directly about the games. Some are very good, while some are not even in compatibility mode. Also you say that you do not like vista, but remember Windows 7 is dumb, since it is the same.

I might be saying something stupid, but I have Windows 7 Home and I kept the XP license that I use with VirtualBox, it works very well, hereafter is what it would work with these games that I know. Well, obviously, if this trial did not support virtualization, the question does not even see that it will not work

Indeed for games its not won in my case even in compatibility mode most of my games do not turn when they worked in xp sp3. The worse is that these are games that date back to 2007 therefore relatively recently. I've all tried uninstall/reinstall, compatibility mode nothing to do. Try to limit a dual boot like that in the worst case you can still run under XP.

Virtualization using VirtualBox or any other software planned for is not the same as the native virtualization Windows 7. They are different techniques. I for example have a Core2Quad Q8200 that does not support virtualization and yet I can use VMware without problems.
