The problem is that when I try to browse folders of the videos or image which comprising files of the format like MP4 or MPEG. While doing this the usage of the CPU goes to the maximum.

I am not getting the exact cause behind this.

Is anybody help me to overcome this problem?

    Hi friend,

You should follow the below instruction to get rid over high CPU usage:

*. Open the Windows Explorer, then select the Tools option
    *. Then choose Folder option.
*. After this choose the view tab
*. At the end you have to verify "follow option".

Please make sure to view imags and video in icon option, don't view in the thumbnail option.

I hope this may sole your problem....

    Hi,

If you are viewing the videos as a thumbnail, then please do following steps to minimize the CPU usage in windows 7:

    1. Go to Task Manager, choose column ,after this check the PID option.

    2. If you are getting problem in it, then plese check the usage of the CPU.

    3. After this start the PID recording. After this step please make sure that program is running according to PID

4.If you get the process named as "svchost.exe" then do one thing open this process in CMD and run command known as "tasklist -svc"

    Hi ,

I think some application such as third party s/w can be cause the high CPU usage. Please search for the same and disable it.

There is also possibilities of the virus. My friend had similar Windows 7 problem, and virus scanning worked for him.
Please complete scan the system for virus and then restart the computer. This might help you.

I don't have any ides other that this to solve the higher CPU usage problem.
