How to make slide show in windows movie maker

Windows Movie Maker is an application installed automatically with Windows for video editing. Its basic functions is enough for the beginner to work on images. The program remains intuitive and can be very helpful for easily making a slide show of photographs. What is the complete way of creating a better and nice slide show of photographs.

Before you begin, create a directory on your hard drive containing the photos you want into your slide show. Then run Movie Maker. If necessary, click the Tasks button to display the task pane: slide show movie maker tasks. This panel shows clearly the steps to make the video or slide show in our case like the first to Import assets (photographs or videos), second to Edit Items and third to Create the video or slide show.

Before creating a slide shows we will check some settings. Open the Options dialog box form Tools > Options. In the Advanced tab make sure the following are selected - slide show movie maker Options. It's Time to display images on the screen. In generally a minimum of 3 seconds is necessary for the human eye can capture an entire screen image. I advise you and 5 seconds but you can adjust your preferences. This will give more time.

The transition step between two pictures in the effect which make your picture live. Like a fade between two images. I suggest you at least a second but also the set according to your own preferences. So I do not recommend choosing NTCS is the current format in the United States for example, except of course if you have the certainty that the NTCS standard applies where you live or plan to watch your slide show. To create Slide show Movie Maker will convert each photo into a little video - or sequence of images - (5 seconds in our case) at frequency 25 frames per second.

Choose ratio of a image according to the format of your TV (16:9 for wide screen, 4:3 otherwise) or your monitor if you plan to watch your slide show on your computer only. Then save your settings. It must then create a new collection containing the pictures. Click the New Folder icon collection. In the Collection window that appears automatically name your collection. Display the Tasks window of the video by clicking on the Tasks button in the toolbar and then deploy the options "Capture Video" by clicking the button on the right. Click Import files, browse to the folder containing your photos, select them (CTRL + A to select all) and then click Import.
