Wmp11 "apply Media Information Changes" Issue

    Hi All.
I have been ripping my CDs usings WMP11, converting to MP3 as i go.
Saving to a external hardrive in album files.
Most my CDs are "home made compilations".

The problem is that i can only "EDIT" the song titles shown in my WMP Library.
This does not make changes to the songs titles in the file they are saved in,
they are still just track numbers 1 to 12 ETC.
I do use "Apply Media Information" facility but this does not alter the file either.

How do i change the files from track numbers to the EDIT/LIBRARY corrected track titles please ?

It does work for a few discs but not many.

    Many Thanks

    Jeff

You can try out with some option in the editing part. See that some options has not ticked or selected. You can use the default settings to restore the changes. You can also use a third party software for this purpose. Like Song renamer. It is a simple tool by which you can rename multiple songs with one click.
