.daa files are movies stored in a special format for downloading. As far as i know .daa file extensions are similar to ISO's or torrent files of some sort. You can try and extract it with WinRar if you know how to correctly mount your ISO afterwards (try Daemon Tools). The .daa file extension (Direct Access Archives) is the format created by PowerISO much similar to large ISO files. The .daa files themselves require you to install special converter software like Power ISO to view the .daa file format.

Many files have a file extension. A file extension is a tag (usually of three letters), preceded by a period, which gives information about the file's format or the application used to create the file. PowerISO can run on Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003/Vista/Windows7 or above. PowerISO is a CD/DVD image file processing tool, which allows you to open, extract, create, edit, compress, encrypt, split and convert ISO files, and mount these files with internal virtual drive.

If you download a .daa file you need a program called PowerISO to open it. Once the .DAA is extracted you should have an ISO of some kind, You will need to mount it or burn it to install. PowerISO is a CD/DVD image file processing tool, which allows you to open, extract, create, edit, compress, encrypt, split and convert ISO files, and mount these files with internal virtual drive.
