Entourage Error -192

Hi,

I have the MS Office 2004 for Mac and I have a big problem in the moment with Entourage. When trying to add an e-mail - the login does not appear, and the error message I get is Entourage Error : The script could not be executed. An error occurred (-192). I am then unable to close the program so I have to force it to quit. Pls help!

To resolve Error -192 , try to rebuilding your Entourage Database.

Here are the recommended steps for reconstruction:
1-In Entourage in the menu bar, select "Office Notifications Off "
2-Quit Entourage
3-restart Entourage holding down the Option key
4-When the Rebuild dialog box appears, choose to restore a typical first
If the problem persists, making edge reconstruction.

You must use this option only if you have already performed a typical rebuild and continue to experience problems starting Entourage or storing data.

Try Updating my Office suite. I suggest using "Remove Office" and then reinstall from the CD and updating before opening Entourage. Also running Apple's latest update Combo. You could overwrite files that have been damaged. Several users have reported this fixed some odd problems they were having with Entourage. It appears that the root of this conflict can be a problem from the source.
