Adobefnt10.lst If a file becomes corrupted, then you can do with InDesign CS2 to crash, freeze or quit when you try to start it. Adobefnt.lst files (eg Adobefnt10.list) are font cache files that contain information about active and available sources. If you delete or rename a file Adobefnt.lst, application to run again next time you start the application.

The source Univox has been linked to this issue. Turning off the power to resolve the problem.

If you install a damaged font, then it can cause this error. Removing the source resolves the problem.

Disabling Font Preview, you can avoid this error. This can be done by changing the way InDesign behaves. By default, InDesign displays a preview of each font in the font menu. By disabling this option, all sources are displayed in the default font. A damaged font can cause this error when InDesign attempts to get a preview of the font.

To resolve your problem, Find and delete all copies of the file AdobeFnt10.lst you find on your hard disk.

    1. In the Finder, choose File> Find.

    2. Adobefnt10.lst Type, select the system drive and then click Search.

    3. Choose Edit> Select All, then drag the selected files to the Trash.

    4. Choose Finder> Empty Trash.

    5. Restart InDesign.
