Procedure of manual MBAM updation

Hi All,

On my pc MBAM is already installed and I am unable to update MBAM because of virus.

Can we use another computer to update virus definition file of MBAM and after that is it possible to install manually it on the which is virus infected computer?

Please help me to sort-out this problem.

Hi friend,

Suppose If you had got any problems during download of the definition updates,Then I recommend you to download them manually and then double-click on set-up file of MBAM i.e on mbam-rules.exe for installation.

It is possible to transfer executable on the infected machine by using CD or by flash drive.

I don't have sound knowledge about the manual MBAM updation. So I cannot help you so much but I according to me you should use flash drive or you can use CD drive to manually update MBAM on your machine whcih is virus infected through another computer which is not infected from virus.

Please try this procedure on your computer, may be helpful for you..

Please first uninstall you MBAM from machine because according to you it is virus infected.And after uninstallation of MBAM , re-install it.

Then check if you are able to update the MBAM or not.If not then use following trick
*. Move MBAM from another disinfected PC ,you can use either CD drive OR flash drive of this.
