Unable to play GTA 4 On my LG Pentium 4 system

HI. I have a Lg's Intel Pentium 4 desktop 2.24ghz processor preloaded with Windows XP service pack 1 . It has 512MB DDR-SD RAM. I am totally a gaming freak and love to play newly arrived games so I installed GTA 4 into my system. But the problem is that I am not able to play the game. Whenever I try to execute the .exe file it opens and closes down automatically. I am totally left clueless. Please can you give me the reason for the same. Is there anything that am missing. Please give me the solution. Thank you.

Hello. The problem basically seems to your systems configuration. GTA 4 is a newly developed game and is compatible to the advanced technology. Nowadays people use Core 2 duo processor or Core 2 quad but your processor is quite old and outdated. Its not that your game is not compatible with your operating system or processor but its your system which is not compatible to execute such a huge game. As far as I can say that you need to upgrade your system with the latest technology in order to make your software compatible with it.

Hi. Well you first need to check out your systems graphic configuration. Go to the desktop and right click. You will get an option of properties. Go to properties and select the display property option. There you can get the configuration information related to your graphic card. The thing is that GTA 4 requires Windows service pack 3 for execution. You need to upgrade your pack for windows. You can visit Microsoft's official website for the information or genuine downloads.

Hello. Your system is totally outdated. You need to upgrade your system to Core 2 duo quad processor for gaming purpose also you need to have a good graphic card. I would suggest you to purchase 512MB NVIDIA 8600 / 512MB ATI 3870 cards. You also need to keep in mind to increase your RAM by 1GB more. It requires atleast 1.5Gb of memory to run smoothly. These are some the basic requirements that GTA 4 or any newly launched game would ask for.
