| Error message while running executable
Hi, I need some assistance on Windows Vista. I am trying to run some setup to check weather they are healthy or not. But I am facing certain error message when I run certain executable. Is there a way to avoid the computer reboots on error and I see a blue screen. Because this will help me to trouble shoot the issue. How to make Windows Vista automatically opens windows that were open when shutting the computer. I also want to accelerate the closure of Windows Vista. Also post some more suggestions for this. Thanks in advance. |

| Re: Error message while running executable
These errors are not really erros, but rather the protections built into Windows Vista. The first warning notifies you simply want an executable to launch and ask you if you allow the introduction or not. The second warning will not run the executable and shows you a message like: "XXX requires the Load Driver and Debug Privileges". This means that the program requires administrative rights important and potentially dangerous. If you still want to run, made right-click the executable, then click "Run Elevated" (high tariffs). The executable should then function normally. |

| Re: Error message while running executable
The blue screen occurs to provides information on the cause of the error so it is very useful to view it. By default, when a blue screen, Windows XP reboots, but we'll see how to change this behavior. But the same can be disable by clicking on Start> Settings> Control Panel> System> Advanced tab> under "Startup and Recovery"> Uncheck Automatically restart. This convenient feature was part of the default versions of Windows older. It is possible to reactivate Windows Vista by opening a file menu and then Tools> Folder Options > Displaying > Restore folder windows open at the next logon. |

| Re: Error message while running executable
To accelerate the closure of Windows Vista open the registry (Start> Run> type "regedit), expand the tree. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ System \ CurrentControlSet \ Control and double-click the key WaitToKillServiceTimeout" and give it the value 2000 to close the prompt service. Often, the dialog boxes of Windows XP offer the buttons "Yes", "Yes to all", "No" and "Cancel" but not "No to all". A good way to get around this oversight is to click on the button "No" by pressing the Shift key. |
