Windows Vista installation queries

Hi,
I have some system in which recently we have added Windows Vista. Currently some are working on a trial software to check the performance. But in some case I had already purchased the license key. I have decided to go for upgrade for all the system to reduce some amount. Now there are some problems here which are wasting the time. Is there a way to increase a trial period of a Vista's demo software. If yes then how to do the same. Can I install DOS in a Vista system. If yes then how. And how to change a Vista product key. Post more suggestion regarding this. Thanks in advance.

Re: Windows Vista installation queries

I am listing you the minimum requirement for Vista. Currently, no configuration minimum has been officially announced, however it is easy to get an idea. The processor must have a minimum frequency of 800MHz. Unlike its predecessors, resources will be more demanding memory and 512MB of ram will be requested but 1GB of ram will not be superfluous. 15 GB of available space on the hard disk. Good graphics card. And CD or DVD. The graphics card is the central point of configuration for Windows Vista when the latter, it is advisable to have a minimum of 128MB (although 64MB will suffice). the graphics card will be compatible with DirectX 9 libraries.

Re: Windows Vista installation queries

Once Windows Vista installed, you have 30 days to activate. This activation is designed to prevent piracy. You can do it by Internet or telephone by contacting Microsoft's license number, identifier 50 figures generated by the machine during installation (different for each installation). Activation is anonymous, only the name of the country of purchase is required. When you install Windows Vista without enter key, you are entitled to a trial period of 30 days. These past thirty days, the system is usable. But there is a trick to make the last day of the trial period. You need only enter the command - Slmgr ?rearm in cmd. To restart the trial period for 30 days. This manipulation is limited to three times the maximum total possible days trial is 120 days, which is good enough to get an idea of the correct operating system.

No. You can usually install. But you can use the DOS based application provided in the software. It is located in Start (the Orb) > Programs> Accessories > Command Prompt (cmd). If you have to excess space in Vista then you can manage the same by right clicking on My Computer, choose Manage (or click the orb> Settings> Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Computer Management), open the tree "Disk Management" . By clicking the right mouse button on different partitions, you can delete, resize, create partitions in the unpartitioned space, change the drive letters etc. bootloader.

Re: Windows Vista installation queries

If you install Windows Vista on a machine that already had an operating system, you may have noticed that the multiboot startup of the computer is somewhat different. To change the installation key Start a command prompt (cmd) by clicking on Org > Programs > Accessories > cmd and type the following command where XXX are your key slmgr -ikp XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Then to activate your Windows type slmgr -ato. When following a software update, your Windows tells you it is not an authentic version, you need to do some manipulation to return to normal. To reset the license files - slmgr ?rilc. To restart the trial period of Windows slmgr ?rearm. And to reboot and activate your copy online.
