Is it possible to rebuild a mdb from a mde.

    Hi,
I need a procedure to rebuild a mdb file from a mdb. I had searched for several other options online but could not find appropriate solutions for this. Is this work possible. I also want to make a client and server based project. Also what are the safety management techniques available in the this office tool prescribed to a database. The same I need to know about the same on user level. And is it necessary to compact a database. What does the effect lies here. Thanks in advance.

No it is not possible to rebuild a mdb from a mde. MDE is a File database which is semi-protected, means an MDE is a MDB in which it is possible to add or modify forms, reports and VBA modules. Contrary to popular belief, the MOE is not entirely protect like a MDB: tables, queries and macros are always available. But DOE has undergone a pseudo compilation. All items available for editing modules (modules and classes, so states and forms included) are no longer accessible.

MS Access is can work on client or server based project. Since the 2000 version, it is possible to create MS Access projects. MS Access projects are great for creating new customer database SQL Server. In this case, you can create a truly client-server application. For this type of architecture you can use MSDE (restricted version of SQL Server) which is provided on the CD Office.

It is simple ti setup a password on the file database. The security level database is unreliable. At user level security is thinner. It is already active, but the parameters are open you do not see the same. When MS-Access is launching its reading is made at the registry level, look up the file system that will govern the DBEngine (DAO). Once these settings, the database opens, where the pattern DBEngine-workspace-DATABASE, and ownership of SystemDB DBEngine. At the opening of the Workspace, user and password are requested, where the syntax CreateWorkspace (<<Name>> <<USER>> <<pwd> >,...). The file SystemDB, can be seen by launching the utility Wrkgadm.exe.

Use prefixes treaty is even recommended. It is so much easier to read code. You you really aware by reading the code of other programmers. As and when to use your database, the file size tends to increase considerably. This is due to the method used by Access to store the records. You are therefore advised to regularly compress your file. Moreover, since Access 2000, compaction included repairing the file if it is damaged. So it is necessary to compact your database.
