In some cases, the act of downloading iTunes via another Web browser may solve the problem. If you do not have other browsers and use Internet Explorer, follow these steps to delete Internet files that prevent the installation of iTunes:

    1. Delete all copies of the iTunesSetup.exe file from this computer.
    2. Open Internet Explorer.
    3. Select Outils> Delete Browsing History.
    4. Click Delete Files under Temporary Internet Files.
    5. Click Yes.
    6. Click Close.
    7. Quit Internet Explorer and open it.
    8. Download and reinstall iTunes .

If the problem persists, follow these steps:

    1. Find and delete all copies of files and QuickTimeInstaller.exe iTunesSetup.exe that were downloaded.
    2. First download the latest version of QuickTime Free iTunes. Make sure you can open QuickTime Player before proceeding to the next step.
    3. Install the latest version ofiTunes. ImportantWhen you are prompted to run or save the iTunesSetup.exe file, then click Run.
