To create mds from mdf just make an image again with ISOBuster or Iso Producer. An MDS file is an optional media descriptor file that can be generated when creating a disc image from a CD or DVD. You can use Alcohol, it can also mount disc images, with support for their proprietary Media Descriptor Image (.mds/.mdf) disc image format.
MDS file can be created by optical disc imaging applications. WinMount is also an image tool, supports mounting ISO ISZ BIN MDS/MDF NRG IMG CCD CUE to virtual DVD-ROM. Another option is UltraISO, it will convert those image formats in seconds.
Open your burning software and select 'All file types'. This should show the mdf files. Then burn as you do normally. If that doesn't work then you need to download ISOBuster [free] it will managed to open and extract all the files from the .MDF file without any problems.
