PowerPoint 2004 for Mac crashes and closes unexpectedly

    Hi,

I am trying to make a PowerPoint presentation using Mac Office 2004. The PowerPoint file is about 70 slides and hardly 15 mb in size. With Presenter Tools I use to give my presentation, because I have detailed notes for each slide. Every time you run Presenter Tools, all I can get through half of the powerpoint 2004 crashes and closes unexpectedly before the program could start. I think this problem if only "View Slideshow". I would appreciate any help.

Use Drive Genius to repair permissions, then try again. If it still happens, try the presentation on another computer. That we can try to figure out whether it's the presentation itself or something about your computer that needs attention.

To resolve your issue, create a new user account. To do this follow the below steps :
    1. On the Apple menu, click System Preferences.
    2. If some settings are unavailable, click the lock icon, and then type an administrator name and password.
    3. Click Add (+), and then type the user's name.
    4. Type a short name if you do not want to use the short name that is automatically generated.
    5. Type the user's password in the Password and Verify boxes.
    6. Click Limitations, and then give that user permission to administer the computer.
    7. Log off from the current account.
    8. Log on to the new user account.
    9. Start PowerPoint and determine whether the issue is resolved.
