DirectX 11 for Vista

Is there any DirectX 11 update available for windows vista? i have windows vista ultimate, just wonder if i can install windows 7 directx 11 in vista? is it possible?

I don't think so there is any such update available for windows vista, directx11 is for windows 7 specifically, it won't come on windows vista. I gess,

Microsoft releases this recent update today : Update for Windows Vista (KB971512) , download it and install it. Microsoft issued two patches allowing Windows vista 32 and 64-bit user to update their DirectX towards DX11 with Compute Shaders activated.
