    Excel lookup query

    Hey all, have what should be a simple problem. Column B say consists of mostly 0s. I want to return to column C the next value >0.

    B C (what I want returned)

    0 200
    0 200
    200 200
    0 500
    0 500
    0 500
    0 500
    500 500
    etc

    Any ideas?

    You can try looking to go for the pivot tables as it gives you exactly what you are looking for and it is also very easy to use if comapared to formulas that come in question for any task. So try utilizing a pivot table or an advanced filter if it's only one name at a time. Also, to return a result from the left of your lookup value, use the MATCH and INDEX functions. Hope that helps you out.
