Error 1723 while updating JAVA

Hi,
My system prompted me for a JAVA update. I run the update it downloaded a new version for the same. After running the installation it setup halted in the middle. A error popped up denoting number 1723. It says installation cannot continue due some missing dll package. I restarted the system and tried back. Again the same error. Is the problem lies with the update which I had downloaded or my operating system has last that dll file. How to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.

The simplest way to fix this will be running a system restore process. Click on Start Menu > Programs > Accessories > System tools > System Restore. In the windows select Restore to older date and give next. Choose a old date and give next. The system will be restarted and the old settings will be restored. This will clear the missing file issue in your system.

The error comes up due to the damaged Installation shield application in your Windows. This application is responsible for running any setup in Windows.
