Unable to save contacts in Outlook 2007

    Hi,

I just purchased a new computer with windows Vista and Office 2007. I've been totally frustrated because you can not save the email address for a new contact. I copy and paste or type the email address and as soon as I tab out, or save the address disappears. I have checked and searched for my optiions the 'net and can not understand what is happening. I don't know how to use Outlook and save a contact! Can anyone help me?!

Create a new PST file in Outlook and have a backup of the old PST files and implement a SCANPST file and open the PST and drag and drop all the elements in the new PST file.

    Created a new profile :
    a. Add your exchange connection with cached mode on and a new clean OST
    b. Create a PST (new clean) file
    c. Set the local PST file as default

To solve your problem, configure the MaxCertsSize registry entry. To do this, follow these steps:
    1. Start Registry Editor.
    * In Windows Vista, click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
    User Account Control
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.
    * In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
    2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Security
    3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
    4. Type MaxCertsSize, and then press ENTER.
    5. Right-click MaxCertsSize, and then click Modify.
    6. In the Value data box, type any DWORD value to restrict the maximum certificate size, and then click OK.
    7. Exit Registry Editor.
