Error code 800C0008 while downloading a Wmv file

Hi,

When I am attempting to download a WMV file from an yahoo e-mail attachment. I keep get the error code - 800C0008 then the Windows Media player starts up automatically whenever I click on download and I don't get a choice to open the download or to save it first. Can anybody help?

Error message 800C0008 comes when you are trying to access the WMV or ASF content online and has the means to bar on Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, IE has its own media player bar, to disable IE6 media Bar to take the play, click the Media button (on the IE toolbar). Then Click media options in the new panel, then Settings, and then clear "Play web media in the bar."

You may have to exit the Media Bar. To stop (Internet Explorer version 6) Media Player, click on the button bar at the bar most important media, then click "Options Media" panel that opens. Now select "Settings" and then that web media "uncheck Play in the bar.

Unfortunately, Internet Explorer 6 has a single player from the Media Bar. To learn about the error generated 800C0008 you have to turn off the Media Bar. To stop (Internet Explorer version 6) Media Bar click the Media button in the main toolbar, then click on "media options" panel that opens. Now select "Settings" and then that web media "uncheck Play in the bar.

If the file is. Mpg and. MPEG and is being sent to you via a web-based account such as Hotmail or Yahoo. Ask the operator to change the file name (s) with the addition. MPJ. Then save the file toyour PC hard drive
