My documents pop ups at startup

    Hello friends,

I am having Windows XP Sp 3 as operating system and everything was working fine, but from few days whenever i try to start my computer my documents folder gets open automatically, i had checked my start up settings over there everything is proper. When i asked my friend about the issue he told me that my computer is being infected by virus but i don't think so. Does anyone facing such kind of issue or know how to remove it from the start-up?

I was also facing such kind of issue to overcome from this issue you need to delete HKEY_ LOCAL_ MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon from the registry for this you need to click on start then goto run option and type regedit, over here registry window would get open and over here find out the registry and delete it and finally reboot your computer for changes to get effected.

My Documents folder opens on every re-boot

I was also facing such kind of issue when i asked one of my friend he told me to change Userinit value for that you need to click on start then goto run optiona nd type registry window over there browse to HKEY_ LOCAL_ MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon, now right click on the Userinit value and, from the drop down menu, select Modify. Type in the value C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,in the Modify dialogue box click OK, then exit registry and reboot your computer for changes to get effected.
