Word 2007 closes unexpectedly and regularly

I have Windows Xp ... Regularly the Word 2007 is Closing Unexpectedly , i means my Word 2007 closes unexpectedly and regularly , Sometime when copying "data" from same or another application and pasting it into Word, gives this error that "An error has Occured blah blah blah and word should close! " , i have not been able to solve this problem , well i havent tried anything coz i dont know what to do to solve these problem , ah yess some time i get this also while Accessing the printer settings , just mention , if it might help you understand the problem ,please help me thanks in advance

To work around this problem, do not change the printer settings through the Print dialog box in Word. Change the settings by using the Properties dialog box in the Printers folder. To do this, follow these steps: Close Microsoft Word.

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
2. Click to select your printer, and then right-click it. Click Properties on the shortcut menu.
3. Click Printing Preferences to see more printer options.
4. After you make your changes, click OK twice to close the dialog boxes.
5. Close Microsoft Word.

Hi, Give a specific examples , what application and how many programs and how many processes running simultaneously on your machine? You can view it with CTRL + ALT + DELETE Could you mention your complete configuration,

Hello, I have personally had many problems with Word 2007, which crashed constantly. These problems have ceased after downloading Microsoft Office Update patches SR1 and SR2. By cons, if you have e downloaded and installed these patches , these might produce news Bugs

Since a few days I experience the same problems with Word2007: after some time Word just stopped working 'experienced a problem' - 'try to get information' - 'will provide a solution when available' - 'will end programme' (might be different in English - I have the Dutch version). Now it stops right after I load a doc-document or after some time when I try to work on a docx document. I tried to reinstall Office 2007 (Professional) and get a bootstrapping error. I changed the name of 'Data' (in the registry) - no effect. I went back to the date just after I installed Office - no change. And by now I am sorely *&@!! (you fill in the appropriate word...).
I have Windows 7 ultimate on a Dell 9400 with 4 Gb memory and as I mentioned: it worked perfectly the first few days.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Or do I have to go back to 2003 - that one never gave me any problems...
