Unable to download msn live mesenger

Whenever i try to download msn live mesenger it gives me error. I am using old web messenger. It shows " we can't sign you in messenger with error code 8004882e when i try to install msn live mesenger . Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

You have to update your windows and use a antivirus.. .To solve the problem first Exit Messenger > Start Messenger again > Sign-in and it should be successful. If it didn't solve the problem then Delete the Msn Live Contacts folder and Messenger cache and Remove the temporary files and folders from the computer.
