| Re: Missing 1394 net adapter drivers on Windows Xp
The 1394 Adapter is associated with the firewire port, not your Ethernet adapter/port. It sounds like your nic is failing and the computer is switching to the next network connection to try and get out. This makes me wonder if your actual Ethernet adapter is disabled, not installed, or not connected. |

If that is the only thing listed, your Ethernet card is ether damaged, or the drivers aren't installed. If you don't use the 1394 connection at all, try disabling it and see how things go. If it still disconnects it could be a driver issue. Do you see any devices under "Other Devices"? Are there any other devices listed with exclamation or question marks? When you disable the 1394 it switches back to the normal nic. |

I think you should download 1394 net adapter drivers on your pc. If you're confused as to which driver is right for your device, you should consult your hardware manufacturer in order to track driver upgrades. If you want you can check out the following link. Hope so it may resolve your above issue. |
