need to execute 2 KB article security patch file to the remote computers

Os - Windows XP.. Since the Remote pc's are in different loaction (bandwidth connectivity is very less), hence we cannot use SMS... We have got a special sofware called Xcellenet, which carries the script & deploy it in the respective location & execute the .bat file.
My requirement is to 1. convert the exe to msi 2. We will have 2 msi files now. 3. need a script in such a way after executing the 1st msi file there shouldn't be any reboot, once the 2nd msi file executed pc should reboot. Pls advice

To convert the exe to msi: refer Converting exe to msi.

need a script in such a way after executing the 1st msi file there shouldn't be any reboot, once the 2nd msi file executed pc should reboot.
Look for sysinternals psexec tool. You can use sysinternals psexec tool to execute your security patch file on remote computers. It also includes the options to copy the program to the remote machine if it is not found.
