Outlook freezes while accessing global Contacts

I am running outlook 2007 on my windows xp system. When i try to access domain's global contact list my outlook freezes. Personal contact not gives any problem while assessing, it freezes only with global contact.

It is possible to access GAL from outlook using LDAP client support in Outlook 2003, when you are getting any problem just export the contact list to a PST file (through outlook) and Delete all the contacts and them import them right back in.

This issue may occur if you have scheduled automatic updates for assignment information from Microsoft Project Server. Try this solution to solution to solve the freezing problem of outlook > delete all files from your temp folder (Start -> Run -> %temp%).

Have you tried reinstalling Outlook 2007? Does this only happen when you access global contacts? You can also export global address list (GAL) members to a Personal Address Book or a Contacts folder in Microsoft Outlook.
