Games and CAD software bug: Virus?

I recently installed Far Cry 2 and Call of Duty 5 alongwith Solidworks. The problem starts in each of these software, the PC crashes and mark me sometimes:

The instruction at "0x36caafec" uses memory address "0x36caafec. The memory could not be "read".
Then the PC still runs, but the screen goes into sleep and I feel that the computer goes to work abnormally (small red and green light constantly). Can anyone help me? Is this some kind of games or CAD software bug or is it a virus?

I hope that the games/software installed are not cracked? Try to install newest Java (against CAD recommendations) and see what happens.

No, I am using the original version, except that solidworks is engraved but I have the license. And for JAVA, I tried installing the original Java application on the machine but it results the CAD installation to ask me to manually install version 1.42.

Ok. And you think this may be due to Virus infection? Only because one of the software that causes PC crashing? It works well at other times, don't you have any trouble before?

Usually no problem, except sometimes at startup, the fan goes mad and no image appears. But when I press reset it starts without any problem. I think the new version of Java comes pre installed with my Windows Vista.
