Need to install nv4_mini.sys

Just few days back i was trying to update the drivers of my nvidia gforce 6800 video card. While updating my drivers through my device manager, the update got started to get download and after some time i got a message saying it need to find nv4_mini.sys to install. I'm unable to find nv4_mini.sys any where on my computer. So, can any body tell me that where can i find nv4_mini.sys on my pc? Any body knows about it? Please provide me the correct information on the above one.

nv4_mini.sys is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32\drivers. nv4_mini.sys is a nv4_mini.sys\r belonging to NVIDIA Compatible Windows 2000 Miniport Driver, Version 169.02\r from NVIDIA Corporation\r. It might by dining, or it might be a bad drivers.

Although running older drivers is against logic, so far so good. Windows debugger showed me the faulting module but was otherwise useless. I had ruled out a hardware problem by loading a windows XP on a different partition. If it ever has another problem.

In order to get rid of the above issue, you should try to update your drivers. Try to replace your video card and check out whether you don't have any damage card. A damage card might give you such problem on your machine. I think you should replace your video card.
