Windows Live Messenger New version Giving me Problems

Since this morning I can not open Windows Live Messenger, and it is offering me to install the new version of window live messenger , though I click no but it returned offering me the same thing , so I finally clicked on yes, but one time it asked me the programs that I want to install. here is the list

• Gallery.
  
• Toolbar.
  
• Writer.
  
• Parental Controls.
  
• Microsoft Outlook Connector.
  
• Microsoft Office Live Add-in.
  
• Silverlight.

Do I need all these programs to run the new Windows Live Messenger? can you tell Which ones are not Require for normal functioning of window live messenger normally? Yhank you for your responses.

I think These are the only requirement to run Windows Live Messenger

make sure that everything is uncheck. You will have just what you want, that WLM. While installing them whenever it asks you for installing that software (Uncheck what you do not want).
