FairUse4WM is a program that can transfer legally purchased music and videos to your iPod, Sony PSP and removes the DRM protection of Windows Media files. It has a GUI version of drmdbg that removes DRM header of the media file, so you get lossless conversion of DRM protected media files. It extracts the personally identifiable information from Media Player for the purpose of allowing you to improve the interoperability of legitimately acquired media files. Because FairUse4WM can't crack DRM license, you need at least one file with an active license on your hard drive to play the DRM protected files without restrictions. It supports Windows Media Player 9, 10, and 11.
The following are the requirements for using FairUse4WM:
- Works only on individualized DRM file.
- Works with both individualized content and some DRMv1 files.
- Support Windows 2000 or higher operating system.
