OLMAPI32.dll error

I finally upgraded from Office 2003 to 2007 thinking it would solve some problems I had but now I just have a bigger problem. I can't get to my email at all. Outlook just does not function. I get an OLMAPI32.dll error.

I write and do graphics for an online magazine which means my job depends on my being able to get to my email past and present.

I've tried everything I know of and nothing happens.


Any suggestions?

try this 2007 Office hotfix package.This hotfix may not contain all the files that you must have to fully update a product to the latest build. This hotfix contains only the files that you must have to correct the issues that are listed in this article.

Run Office Diagnostics and see if the issue goes away. If it doesn't, then repair the installation , one is also needed to remove any previous versions of Outlook and/or Office if installed . head to the control panel, add-remove programs, click on Office 2007, and then the change button. Hit the Add/Remove button, then on the next screen make sure to click on the very top option and "Run All on My Computer" , Once the install process has finished, You will have a now working installation of Office Outlook 2007!

The hotfix said expected product not found.

I have run the repair but that didn't work either.

I think I'm going to go back to 2003 version tomorrow.
