    reallocate partition

Earlier i had 400 gb in E drive.

I extracted 40 gb from E drive and made a new F drive and installed windows 7 on it.

Now i have formatted the F drive. After that i deleted the F drive and i am left with unallocated 40gb hard disk space.

I want to allocate this 40gb back to E drive.

I did everything using partition magic. But i dont know how to do this.

    Please help.

    Re: reallocate partition

You can try a Merge Windows Partition tool to do that. But I will recommend you to do that with Windows XP bootable disc. Insert Windows XP bootable disc and restart your computer. Then press ESC and select the CD/DVD Drive. Boot from CD. Then in the dos screen go to the F and E drive and press D to delete both. Them Press C to create partition and hit enter. Press L to format it and let windows check your drive. After that as windows install begin remove the CD and restart your computer. Delete any file you can see in E. If you have data in E then try a merge partition software.
