Acrobat 8 & Word 2007 under Vista

Hi Folks,

I am trying to make a simple .pdf document from Word 2007. I visited Print & select Adobe PDF as the printer.But Word not able to do so,so I quit that and open Acrobat, chosen Create PDF and pick the .doc file . It almost suddenly informed me PDFMaker files is absent and requires to run in "repair mode", where it seems to want to reinstall.After a while, it reminds me it can't find AdobePDF.dll . So I extract the file from the cab, put it in the folder, and point to it. After rebooting , I try it again and the same situation arose, where the whole process starts all over again.So tell me guys what should i do to make things better.i hope a rapid reply

Generally a methodically approach as outlined in the troubleshooting guide is most effective when attempting to decide what is the troublemaker for you.One option I have seen is to uninstall 1.4 but now I cannot do that since I get a message that not letting me to delete the software even though i have the administrative rights.

You can download an addin that will add save as pdf from the word 2007.you could find out It from office website.alternatively you can get and install pdf995, which works amazingly for me.Same time try right-clicking on pdf and confirm you got admin rights for the file! same goes for uninstalling, run uninstaller by right-click "run as admin".
