Lost mails in Outlook after Upgradation

Heya,

I had installed windows XP on an existing 98 operating system and it was working so fine until last day.When I opened Outlook Express and all mails that I had in there were missing. Now I am frantically looking for a way to retrieve as there are very important files..some who could help me to sort out the issue?

As like you I find out that I had quite a few of my archived Outlook Message files went absent on the desired folder.I recently upgraded the same. Most of my older emails had notes for important projects I still required.Lately I found a Microsoft Outlook recovery tool. I found the perfect Outlook Mail Recovery software at Disk Doctors.net. I have long used Disk Doctors software for data recovery issues.I would recommend you a pst recovery tool for this

I guess you can recover those files. xp just built a new mail folder. i had to do this just a few days ago and it amazingly working. the mail is saved in: C:\Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\Microsoft\Outlook Express. you could notice two outlook express folders,remove all the files in the new one and shift the old ones.But all the names should be correct
