Convert .mod files to mpg format

Hi,

I Have recently bought my friends JVC camcorder, It records video in >mod format. when i try to play tjis video in my pc it wont play at all, i dont knmow how to deal with this format, Is there any other converter or converters that can convert .mod files to .mpeg file format.

If you want to convert .mod to .Mpeg then First copy the .MOD file from your video camera and save it to your pc, Now go to that video file and Right-click the file and choose Rename from the menu. Delete the .mod extension and replace it with .mpg. Now use windvd on your computer, the file should now just work almost anywhere you can play .mpg files.
