How to convert avi to dvd with nero 7

I have some AVI videos that do not go into the PSP so i want to convert with Nero 7 Premium. But i don't know how to convert can anyone help me ?

I can not watch a video file Winamp media file burned onto a CD-RW on my DVD player, but my drive is compatible with CDRW, should convert the video file to be read by the drive, but how and what software (free) to choose?

it's not because your home DVD player supports all media, it can read any file format. Read your document is written above as regards video formats: DVD, SVCD, VCD and occasionally some divx (beware codecs) from an avi video, I advise you rather convert to VCD or SVCD, as that can read your DVD player.
