Error sending copy of file in compatibility mode as an attachment

Hi;

I am currently usind Office 2007 and sometimes I save files in Office 2003 compatibility mode

Whenever I try to send a document in compatibility mode in an email as attachment directly form the file (from the file>windows icon>send>send a copy of the file in an email as attachment) and click send, an error appears:
"The message interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook"

This doesn't happen with Office 2007 files, only those in compatibility mode.

Also, If I open Outlook, new message, attach the file and send it, no error appears.

Can anyone help me with this problem please?

The message that you tried to send is addressed to a user or personal distribution list that does not reside in your personal address book or does not reside in the global address list.

This may happen if you log on to a mailbox and try to send a message that was previously addressed by using a personal address book for that mailbox.

Actually, the user who I tried to send it to does reside in my personal address list, so I don't think that is the problem. Also, Office 2007 files are able to be sent in the same way.

Can there be another cause for this error?
