I was thinking of installing XP in Compaq CQ60 100EE, but the problem is that it is only built for Vista . is this possible to install Xp in it and will i get the driver if install it .

See you can install Xp on Compaq CQ60 100EE and there are driver available for Compaq CQ60 100EE XP .Her eis the driver you willl be needing .
XP Drivers for CQ60-100ED

To install this driver you need to first extract it and after Download modded INF and you need to replace original INF in extracted folder and a restart you are done .

You can use this for audio. Just unzip and install it if that doesnt work go to Device Manager-> right click -> Audio Device on HD and update driver and Install from a list or specific location .you need to choose 'I will choose the driver to instal' and for the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices' and uncheck 'Show Compatible Hardware' and then Go to "Have Disk". now you need to unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".

good news for everyone with a cq60 laptop...the new nvidia display drivers and nforce drivers work fine out of the box...just install the nforce drivers first..if unsure search for the latest..and then install the nvidia display drivers...for everything else you may follow salvatores guide should work...
